Rising Demand for SEO and Digital Marketing Services

In India, the digitalization and trends of moving businesses online have bumped up the career opportunities in Digital Marketing.  While every business is going online, they need marketing to scale the business and get more customers. The offline traditional marketing approach may work but to implement and perform the marketing ideas need a specific kind of technical knowledge and this is something we named Digital Marketing.

There are some roles in digital marketing and I am gonna tell you why and How they help businesses grow effectively and efficiently.

  1. SEO Specialist / Inbound Marketer
  2. PPC and Advertising Executive
  3. Content Marketer and Manager
  4. Growth Hacker

Now we will be talking about each role and why the demand for the role is increasing.

1) SEO Executive / Inbound Marketer

Talking about an SEO Specialist, the duty of an SEO executive is not just to bring the user (potential customer) pm the landing page by making it available to them for targeted keywords in SERPs.  The task is to generate leads for the business.

Converting a user into a customer is the final goal. And that does an SEO specialist does. He also owns content management skills.

Attracting new customers is the biggest problem of the new online startups. And Inbound marketing solves it. Any new digital business needs an SEO specialist desperately because the new business needs awareness. A business will want to make itself visible and discoverable for its targeted customers.

2) PPC and Advertising Expert

Any venture small or big invests in advertising to gain customers, sales, branding, and success. When it comes to advertising online, it becomes utmost necessary to put the right keywords, monitor the campaigns and make sure that you’re not spending too much. It is a regular task of experimenting and analyzing the results and then implementing the improvements required.

You can not set the campaign on autopilot and expect the customers to walk in. You will have to

  1. Target the right audience which in future is going to be converted into your customers
  2. Optimize the cost of each user landing to your website and subsequently engaging in some business
  3. Do A/B testing to see which advertising is converting well for you

Yes, by making high budget at stake you can get highest ranking possible on Google. But at the same time, you might be spending too much for landing a customer on your website.

3) Content Manager

If your business website has a blog too, it becomes easier to communicate with your audience. Blogging is a great source of leads for modern business.

These blog posts may be case studies, tutorials, How to videos, Top 10 products in your industry or the latest trends in the industry. This somehow engages the right set of audience.

Digital marketing services are incomplete without proper content management. Of course, True. Because The Content is The King. I am sure you have heard this line so many times earlier.

Conclusion

Having an in-house digital marketing team can prove to be a boon for your business if done right.

  1. Great topic Vashishtha, Since our PM gave the slogan digital India, everyone wants to be digital. No one want to left behind.

    And when they think about the Digital Services, first thing comes in their mind is SEO. SEO still a major player of digital marketing but unfortunately very few knows how to do it right.

    Same goes with content marketing most of the people and companies are still don’t have any idea what the content marketing is.

  3. True that demand is increasing, but the industry especially small businesses are still way behind to embrace these new marketing techniques. But on the other side it is true that the industry is changing at a good pace.
    SEO, social media and AdWords are the most common and mostly well known. But the problem is, most of the businesses still do not understand the basic requirements of getting good results out of these. Whenever it comes to content and graphics they think that these are additional overhead cost.
    So the awareness is not going to be enough but we must educate businesses about the merits of internet marketing, its process, requirements and results.

    Digital marketing services in high demand for business. Since most of the businesses are going online these days. But only going online will not let any business to grow.

    Each and every concept is connected with one another Conent, SEO, Analytics, and Adwords. But small businesses are expecting instant results. they are Spending more on Adwords and Facebook Campaigns with out understanding the value of Content and SEO. I have seen sites without proper SEO and Content running Adwords Ads and not getting any conversions after spending money. So if you are in digital marketing field you should focus on understanding concepts. and one more thing i think you have missed point no 4. growth hacker check it once.
