Infographic Is Here To Stay!

v

Infographic— the dictionary meaning says:

Infographic is nothing but an information graphic.  That is a visual representation of a dataset or instructive material.  It takes a large amount of information in text or numerical form and then condenses it into a combination of images and text, allowing viewers to quickly grasp the essential insights the data contains.

In fact, Infographic is here to stay!

In short, in a busy world, people can obtain lots of information by just have a glance on an infographic,  As the saying goes: “A picture speaks a thousand words” this is the key here today!

People are very busy and they are not in a position to read a 2000 or 3000-word content, but if that can be condensed in the visual image  or in a graphic chart that will get more attention.

Here is a post  which talks everything about infographic!

People retain 80% of what they see and only 20% of what they read and 10% of what they hear.

The research says 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual.

And Visual contents are shared 3x times faster than text.

  1. Hello Philip, love your blog!

I just love infographics! As your infographic shows, I really appreciate the branding aspects as well as SEO.

Actually, infographics have been a challenge for me. I find that when I want to get certain points across, this should be my first choice (that’s why I have to get good at infographics), but I tend to write and use 1 graphic to represent my written content.

Your post reminds me that I have to try harder to get comfortable with creating infographics, they are worth it.

    Thank you Philip!
