Check your domain ranking
This is great info, Philip.
It’s really important to keep up the speed on your site and your link to Karol K’s “11 Ways” how to do it is most helpful.
I tried to access your “WEBPAGETEST” link but got a 404. I got to the site from your link further down the page to webpagetest.org, though.
My site was 4.6 on first test, 2.1 on second. What’s the difference between the two?
Thanks again for a most helpful article.

Hello Philip,
As David has stated I too clicked on the first link anxious to see how fast my page loaded only to get a 404 message,
but then did click the link below and Wala. I was there and did take the test and everything checked out with an A.
There was some more jibberish but I had no idea what that data was LOL
Anyways I have always been curious about this and do thank you for the information.

Hi Philip. Page speed has been an issue for me for a while. Over the last few months, I did all that was recommended, apart from changing to a faster delivery system. I reduced the number of plugins, cleared the database, added extra cache features etc. I improved the Google speed test score but was still scoring F for load time with Webpagetest.
Last week I took the plunge and changed to cloud hosting with a new provider. I still need to do a few tweaks but I’m now scoring A. I’m now in the process of moving my other sites across.
Hi Philip,
You have mentioned the best tips to balance the speed of website, I liked your tips much and will use those techniques in my website.
As far as I know Web Speed is a Search Engine and SEO ranking signal as well, as Alexa cares much about it.
By the way, I am your new visitor, your blog rocks :)

Hello, Philip!
Page and site speed is definitely not only important but also beneficial. We need to make our sites as user-friendly as possible, right?
I read the NY Times article. This was the main thought, “The goal is to develop a universal standard for publishers — one that could be used to load articles more quickly wherever they appear. But accomplishing that while retaining the look and feel of those pages has proved difficult.”
Thank you for all the great info Philip!
