Change Is Good But Sometimes Bitter Too!

Change Is Good But Sometimes Bitter Too! Watch out These Changes. We the bloggers, for that matter those who are all connected with internet and having their own blog or web pages will eagerly watch the developments happening in and around Google!
In the earlier days, people spam a lot and ranked low-quality website on the top. Due to this, there was no accuracy found in the search results. To make better search results Google starts updating its algorithm to make better websites. They continually launched some algorithm which helps to outrank the low-quality websites and rank high-quality ones. These changes made some to rejoice and some to cry!
An estimate says Google changes its search algorithm around 500-600 times. While most of these changes are minor, Google occasionally rolls out a ‘Major’ algorithmic update like Google Panda and Google Penguin that affects search results in significant ways.
Here is an informative piece, an infographic tells about its history from 2000 to 2015. This infographic is developed by one of my online friends Naveen Kumar. He is an SEO expert from the world of blogging! He is running an informative page named F5 The Refresh
He needs no introduction to Philipscom readers, some time back he did a Guest post for Philipscom and you can read that post HERE: How To Remove Your Last Name from Facebook Account
His newly developed page NextMashup is now attracting more visitors as a Media Website which updates regularly about recent news, updates, technologies and also trying to make a smile on your face in the midst of serious matters by sharing some entertaining contents.
Naveen designed this infographic at JoomDev which shows the History of Google Search Algorithm update (2000-2015).
Thank you all for your kind visit.

I am very fortunate to have escaped the Google zoo relatively unscathed. The constant changing is really difficult for bloggers to keep up with. Although, I understand why Google feels they have to keep on tweaking the algorithms. Too much spam.
Hey Gayle,
Thanks a lot for leaving your feedback here on the post. Yes, if google did not update its algorithm then there will be a lot of spam or you can say corruption on the web and you could not get any desired results.
So its good to clean web to provide better results.

Hello Philip,
That’s a cool infographic image you shared there. The thing we need to understand that things will change sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worst. It is up to us to be prepared for such changes..
The first Google Algorithm change I experienced was the Caffeine update and since then I have seen so many changes. Although, a lot of people fuss about it, I believe that these changes are for the betterment of the steady flow of information. These changes may have been bitter for some, however, it did help the searchers showing almost accurate results for their queries.
As a blogger, I also learned that blogging is not about SEO alone but it is just an element that you can use to extend the reach of your blog. There are many other elements such as Social Media, Email Lists, Referral Traffic and much more that must be addressed while blogging if you really wish to be successful at blogging. Depending merely on Google can be risky if your blog becomes the target of the next algo change.
Thanks for sharing..

Yes, I fully agree with you that Google do these all changes with a good intention but on the run it may get affected bad for some. Yes, for the betterment of the smooth function they really do this. to make a blog successful and I think all will change anyways.
