മാമലകൾക്കപ്പുറം കാണാത്ത എൻറെ മലയാളം
മലയും പുഴയും താണ്ടി ഭൂലൊകമെങ്ങും പരന്നു
ഇന്നിതാ അതിൻ ധ്വനി മരുഭൂമിയിലും എത്തി
മലയാള ഭാഷ തൻ വർണ്ണനപേറി
പേരും പെരുമയും നേടിയ മക്കൾ
ജാതിയും മതവും മാറ്റി നിർത്തി
മരുഭൂവിലെത്തിയാഘോഷത്തിന്നായ്
കഥയും കവിതയും നെഞ്ചിലേറ്റി
വർണ്ണിച്ചു വർണ്ണിച്ചു പോന്നവരും
വെള്ളിത്തിരയിൽ മിന്നിത്തെളിഞ്ഞവരും
ഇന്നിതാ ഒത്തൊരു സംഗമത്തിൽ!
വർണ്ണിച്ചീടുവാൻ വാക്കുകൾ പോരാ!
‘എന്റെ സ്വന്തം മലയാളം’ എന്ന പേരിൽ
‘ഗള്‍ഫ് മാധ്യമ’ സംഘാടകർ തൻ മൂശയിൽ
ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞ ഈ നല്ല സംരഭം-
മലയാള ഭാഷക്കു തന്നല്ല
മലയാള സംസ്കൃതിക്കും

അഭിമാനമാകും സംശയം വേണ്ട.
