Today’s A to Z blog challenge, starts with the letter “J” For Joy
I am overjoyed to write about that word start with the letter ‘J’ that is for me it is the word JOY
I am sure this word itself is so pleasant to hear and my readers will agree with me too. Ok, let us check.
What is the definition of Joy?
The dictionary meaning is = to experience great pleasure or delight. Or the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation etc.
Joy is the experience of gratitude
A famous Christian author said: “Joy is the experience of gratitude, of being glad for life in the presence of the Giver of life. Joy is also the will to give back to another something of what one is and has for the sheer desire of sharing the gift. Joy is a blend of gratitude and giving.”
We are living in a society where we can buy almost anything with our money and power, probably we can buy or get momentary joy or pleasure with our resources. But that is not the joy I am going to talk about, instead it is the really Joy one can obtain by his faith. That is not a momentary one but a permanent one. Of course it has a great price tag attached to it! But at the same time it is given freely and will always be free.
We need not spend our resources to obtain it, but it is given freely to anyone who seek for it genuinely.
It is an inexpressible gift available only to those who choose for it.
That is the only one and true joy given by God the Almighty.
God can take your burden, trouble, sorrow and change it to great and joyful treasures.
Yes, your sorrow and trouble can be exchanged for God’s Joy. It is not a momentary one which we get in this world with our money, but it is more than that, and it is deep, permanent or eternal.
You may face troubles and tribulations in this world but the ultimate result is that you obtain joy from God. Yes, God the Almighty is there to help you out!
Yes, He reminds you that He cares.
In the Bible there is a verse which apt to quote in this regard: Romans Chapter 8:28 says: “God causes all things in our lives to work together for good.”
Yes, in this world you have sorrow and trials but cast everything upon Him, He will take all those for you and in return He gives the eternal peace and Joy.
Yes, He can ease all your troubles.
I have experienced it.
Every Christian believer have this joy in Him!
Of course there are many ways to explain or define joy.
It is not just an expression of happiness, smile or laugh instead it is something more than that!
It is an experience we enjoy deep within our lives and it will not go away immediately.
When we have the real joy of God in us we will realize it and the people around us too will notice that.
We have a great duty to do along with it or attached to it.
Yes, we cannot just withhold that joy within ourselves, instead we need to share it with others by explaining those real joy’s reason behind.
