Oh My the World’s Cheapest Android phone is here!
The company is offering this smart phone for just a 251 Indian Rupees (INR).
This is indeed an amazing news!
Though the phone is launched with the full support of the Government of India, it looks something fishy somewhere!
The other day i visited some of my online friends’ page and an extensive search at last i found that it is no doubt nearly an impossible thing to deliver such a phone with those features mentioned.

It is even very interesting to note the company’s claim!
“The 3G handset, Freedom 251,
features a 4-inch display,
Qualcomm 1.3-GHz quad-core processor
and 1 GB RAM”

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar launched the smartphone Freedom 251 on 18th February. The controversy already started even before the launch of the phone. The Indian Cellular Association (ICA) expressed their concern and informed the Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad about it and they also expressed their concern of the presence of senior politicians and higher government officials at the launching ceremony.
The sad news is that the company is unable to take the registration rushed on the first day of booking!
Anyways, sadly the company closed its booking immediately after its launch!
