Yes, before you make a complaint to God, please read the following:

  1. If you have a house to dwell and a fridge to keep your food you are one among the richest person in this world.
  2. If you have money balance in your bank account, you are one among the 8% of the rich people in the world.
  3. If you are able get up in the morning and to go to work you are again among the rich men in this world. There are crores of people in this world who are unable to do this. So you are a rich man again.
  4. If you do not face any war crisis, jail, poverty or the threat of terrorists you are still a blessed man. There are more than 5000 lakes people everyday faces such threats in their life.
  5. If you can go to the worship place without any fear or threat you are again a blessed person. There are more than 300 crores of people who face this situation in their life.
  6. If you are able to give thanks to the God who provided all these facilities to you, you are again a blessed person, because a majority of people do not give thanks to God.
  7. Did you pray yesterday and today, did you wait for the instructions from the God? If you did, you are again a blessed person. Sadly, very few do this!

What is our problem?

A better house than the neighbor,

a better vehicle than the friend,

children’s marriage,

promotion in the job,

increase in the wage these and various other things are our worries daily.

Yes the list goes on and on.  Then also we just forget the wonderful facilities which we are enjoying daily!

What a pathetic situation we are in!

If you read this message, again, you are a blessed person!

Because in this world, there are about 200 crore people who can’t read or write or even to complain.

Now next time when you make a complaint to God, just think of these wonderful facilities which you are daily enjoying.  Not of the things which we do not have but of the things which we have and enjoying.  We need to give thanks for these things which we are enjoying daily.

Do you find any difference in it?

Think of these facts and give thanks to God for the things we have.

  1. Hi Philip sir,

That is so true. We often complain so much even after having much enough for survival. There are many deprived and unfavored people out there. Yet some of us cry for luxury.

A great post! I am definitely sharing this.

    ~ Rohan.

    • Hi Rohan,
Nice to see you here again after a bit gap! :-)
Hope everything is fine with you.
Yes, Rohan that is the problem with most of us.
In fact this thought made me to think on it very seriously.
How nice it would have been if each of us think on that line. :-)
But it is a very difficult task too!

Thanks for the first visit in this post, I am so glad that you found it worth to share,
      Thanks again for sharing :-)
May you have a great and blessed day.
      Best

  3. Very good post..food for thought. If more people will be grateful rather than complaining the world will be a much better place to live in. The spirit of greed and want more is at the root when so many out there are less fortunate and in poverty. it is a real issue that society is facing. To fix it starts with changing the way we think and the way we approach God with our prayers.

    Have a blessed weekend.

  4. Hi Philip,

Nice thoughts and very true too. We all should implement on your advice. Complaining is very easy but thanking is bit hard for every person.

I am always thankful to God for giving me this wonderful life. I am happy with whatever I am. So, you all do the same.

Helping others is a better way to thanks to God. So, I always try to help all who ask me for the help. And hardworking is the another way to thanks to God.

If you keep doing hard-work then the success path is not very far to you. You can get it very easily and quickly.

Thanks you so much for the wonderful post. Have a nice weekend!

    Hello, Philip,

What a beautiful reminder to be thankful for what we have and to realize that the fact that we can get out of bed in the morning and draw our first breath of air is a GIFT from God.

    I couldn’t agree more! :-)

    Have a blessed day.

  6. There are so many who don’t have the basics for survival in the world.
It’s all right to request things of God – we just need to be sure they are not shallow or selfish wants that do nothing to glorify His kingdom.
