A Serious Note And A Few Lessons To Learn
This is a serious note to the readers of Philipscom. Yes, we just entered into another month and moving fast to the fag end of a year! Few thoughts and remembrance from the life of A P J Abdul Kalam, the former teacher and President of India on this day called Teachers Day.
Just a few more months to pass to enter into another New Year.
Oh, my… 2018 was indeed an Eventful year filled with Joy and Sorrow!
Few thoughts and a serious note and remembrance on the life of A P J Abdul Kalam, the former teacher and President of India on Teachers Day. Share on XWhen we look back we can see a lot of ups and downs in our journey through the year. But for me, most are joyous things to note!. Of course, this post is not a look back of the year, instead, I wanted to share an important thing which is very much disturbing me in these days.
Though we all know the alarming situation taking place in our land in the name of religion and politics.
So sad to note that our elected representatives the so-called politicians or leaders rule the roost.
They take the maximum advantage by using such a troubled situation to fill their vote banks.
Terrorists have struck at different areas in the name of petty politics and religion. Added to the fire our 4th estate too, is taking that as an advantage to fill their valet, they add more mixture (masala) to the existing problems and show it in an exaggerating way. Yes, to raise their TRPs they do add extra ingredients to make that into a sensational story.
In short, by and large, our 4th estate add more oil to the already burning fire!! So sad to note this to my fellow journalists!

Even in the midst of this chaos and turmoil while browsing through the pages of my fellow bloggers the other day I visited one of my online friends’ page and found out some encouraging posts and videos. Yes, here I am talking about an upcoming blogger a young university student Naman Kumar from Punjab and now based in New Delhi.
Naman Kumar and his newly created Naman’sBoard page is now filled with lots of events. The recent post, a series on the life of the former President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam is indeed a wonderful, informative and educational read.
The life story and the great achievements of an ordinary man called Abdul is portrayed in it with his wonderful resources and his early life stories in videos. On the Naman’s Board the famous blogger from Germany, Erika posted few notes/quotes of Dr. Kalam with few amazing videos.
I am so glad to go through and post one of those videos which touched me very much and I would like to re-post that here for my readers:
In short, we, especially the people of India (who often fight in the name of religion) can pick some valuable lessons from this video. Though it is created for the young people, I am sure it is equally valuable to the elders or the so-called veterans in the political and religious fields.
I am still unable to understand why our politicians can’t pick up and emulate some vital lessons from this amazing person’s life story. Indeed there is a lot to emulate his exemplary life.
Let us not give a religious color to such an amazing person’s life, like some are trying to do.
To read more about this wonderful person please do visit Naman’s page HERE

You can also download Dr. Kalam ’s much talked about Wonderful Book (Wings of Fire) in Ebook format (PDF) from Naman’s page.
Thank you, Naman and Erika, for providing these resources to your readers. :-) I am so glad to make a note about this on my page today with due credits.
Keep writing and spread our knowledge through our pages.
Yes, as I often say: “We have only one life, let us share our knowledge with our fellow beings before we depart from this world!”
May you both have a wonderful time of blogging and staring ahead.
Good Wishes
For Philipscom

Hi Brother Phil, (A big ‘hi’to Naman too )
Good that you are taking some initiative to support one more blogger through this post. Actually I had gone through his blog once or twice but yet to make a comment. I liked the way Naman narrate things in his blog and it is a great thing to note that he is covering topics that include those related to one of the greatest personalities in the history of India.
Once again thank you very much for introducing such a wonderful blogger and person Mr. Naman Kumar to your readers.
Have a great day.

Thanks a lot for sharing! I’m so glad to see it here.
I completely agree with you that in today’s India some politicians are playing a role of disturbing the society and doing dirty politics in the name of religion and caste.
The video which Erika mam included in the post at my blog and which everyone can see here also is very touching video. It is one of the best part of Wings Of Fire novel. A.P.J Abdul Kalam was really a great man and is an inspiration for everyone.
Thanks again for sharing!

Hey Manoj,
Thanks for your visit again and the insightful feedback on this post.
Yes, indeed Dr. Kalam was a unique personality the country had.
So sad to note that we do not have anyone like Kalam among our present leaders.
Thanks again for your time and feedback.
