Last updated on May 30, 2018 The time for the BIG blog challenge! Yes, the A to Z blog challenge time is at hand and my computer was giving some problem or faced some difficulties with the keyboard, screen, speed etc.

Suddenly my subject for this year’s challenge got changed into another subject other than the scheduled one.
Why can’t I write some experience I gained by using the computer. I am sure that will be a small lesson to users who are still in the learning process like me. My younger son Matt (a young computer geek) came in handy like a ready reckoner in this aspect.
The other day while working on my desktop accidentally tea fell on my computer’s keyboard, though immediately

I switched off the system and tried to clean it up with clothes and other available cleaning brush etc. but alas!! After the effort some of its keys are still in an unmovable position, in fact, it got stuck and not able to use it. Want to finish some urgent job and going for a new keyboard is a much difficult process, suddenly my younger son Matt came in with a helping hand and he did a trick which he learned from his school.
He copied the letters O, S, and K from somewhere (from the internet, from other available word documents or from file names by using the mouse and paste it on a notepad creating a word OSK (On Screen Keyboard)
Then opened the “Run’ tab and he pasted the word OSK and pressed the OK button!!
There you are with a fresh keyboard to work on…..for a temporary period or in an emergency.
Though with bit struggle I finished my job in time without any hassles.
Though it’s very simple, that help was a great blessing in disguise on time.
Thanks, Matt for the timely help.
