What You Need To Do To Clear AIPMT 2016

All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test is conducted every year in India for those aspiring to become a doctor or dentist, in short, this exam is for those who want to pursue their career in medical field. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi conducts this test. Qualifying AIPMT 2016 makes you eligible for 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal or other local authorities in India, except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu and Kashmir. Also, the State Governments/Universities/Institutions voluntarily participate in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test for using its merit list for admission in the Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges against seats under their control.

Reservations for the AIPMT 2016

Like all other exams, AIPMT too reserves seats for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Handicapped Candidates. Two merit lists are issued, one being the All India Level and the other being, State level.

Things to Worry About

Year after year, the number of the registering candidates is increasing at huge rate. And the reservation quota only increases the competition for the All India Quota candidates. So need to buckle up and prepare hard for the coming exam. In fact, AIPMT 2016 is almost knocking at the doors. It is to be held on 1 May 2016. And to fare well than the rest of the candidates, you need to be more prepared and much more confident about your preparation. You have to stand out from the rest by your performance in the test.

Tips to out-perform in the AIPMT 2016

First of all, to start with, you must be fully aware of the syllabus of the test. You can cross check it from their official site of AIPMT 2016.

Now you must be aware that both 11^th and 12^th syllabus is covered in the syllabus of AIPMT. It is very important that you keep on revising, coz else it is obviously not possible for any normal kid to memorize every topic of 11^th till the 12^th end. Better way is while you teach new chapters, concepts keep revisiting the older concepts too so that at the end you can just take a glance by and you automatically remember every concept behind them.

Secondly, it’s always a better thing to be a bit choosy, with respect to your books, place and time of study your mentors etc. Do not run after several books just by listening to your friends or any person. It might be possible that the prescribed book may have been helpful to him/her but the same being in your case too is not necessary. There are always some standard books to be followed in every exam. In addition to them you can take advice from your teacher, mentor or coaching institute. And it is of utmost importance that you are full confident about the concepts of your textbook that is NCERT.

Thirdly, it is your health that comes first. Keep yourself fit and healthy for better performance in the exam. Keep doing physical exercises and also meditate for mental peace. Eat healthy and get adequate sleep. Your body needs some rest too. Being healthy means you can better concentrate on your studies.

Practice makes a man perfect!

As mentioned above, you need to revise what you study. Keep practicing numerical. Make flashcards for things that you need to memorize like families of plants and animals etc. Take mock tests so that you know where you stand. Keep note of your strength and weaknesses.
