So, what are the loophole in this context and its probable solution? It can be to improve your search engine rankings. And to achieve the same, it is better to use as many keyword variations as you can in the ‘meta tag’ section of your site setup. Search engine bots can easily identify these tags and use this info to show you brand name in the maximum searches.

Everyone knows what SEO is all about. But, the necessary aspect here is to know what kind of changes you can follow to improve your ranking.

Here is the list that you can follow-

  1. Thoroughly Examine Your Audiences

A good SEO strategy demands an outside-in approach. The ultimate goal of a business owner is to sell your products but the customer’s perspective is always a priority. Without this, it will be a tough process to gain targeted audiences.

There are several vistas you can consider while looking at your website from a customer’s point of view. These are the difficulties your clients have, how your product can solve it and even the service offerings and product features they are looking for.

The primary concern of your SEO strategy must be towards providing the info that is utterly useful for your targeted customers. The group of people who is migrating towards mobile looks for instant answers.

Now, Google comes packed with the ability to strengthen to give an answer to the different queries without the need of sending someone into a page.

  1. It is The Best To Be Natural

If you think like you need to wedge a keyword into a sentence, you are certainly unaware of the essence of SEO. Keyword density is obsolete now. The crux of writing content is to create what readers will find fruitful. If a sentence seems weird because you have occupied it with a pool of keywords, it is an alarming situation to change it.

You do not need to lure search engines with the number of keywords that you have used, rather it will kill your credibility in the reader’s eyes. Moreover, your ranking will fall due to keyword stuffing.

There is no need to put extra efforts on SEO for dramatic results. Following the few simple steps might create major SEO boosts. The reason is quite simple. It is better to be organic and fit keywords in such a manner that it will look like the part of your content instead of an extra fixture.

  1. Focus on Global Improvements

The SEO results are not only about being stick to some fixed tactics for any easy data gathering. Instead, a good tactic is to apply your efforts as a whole. Page recommendations are good but they get restricted after a particular point in time when you are optimizing a site via page-by-page basis. Things become worse when dealing with a website of a large enterprise.

Here, the best idea is to look for global improvements where experts only need to make changes at one location and it will impact thousands of pages. An easy way to identify these changes is to tweak title tag and meta description template logic with an intent that it will comprise all the essentials. These are important words, phrases and even modifiers that people will search in general apart from the primary keywords.

  1. Build Rich & Unique Content

If you have decided the design for your website along with the right set of keywords to focus, it is the time to think about the content that you will put. This is because the content is what readers will read when they come to your site.

There are probable chances that users will come to you due to the lucrative appearance of the site but they will not last long if the quality that you have used in your content is not rich.

Good quality content not only improves SEO but also brings quality inbound links and wide social shares. Things do not confine here only. Content works well only when it is effectively marketed.

Another noteworthy aspect is, content does not only means words that are written on your page or social media profiles. It expands to free tools, how-to videos, pretty visualizations and many more beyond.

In some cases, a standout content automatically catches links. The process is known as ‘link earning’. It means there are fair chances that you have already done SEO, and interestingly you are not doing it intentionally.

  1. Dive Deep For Internal Linking

When used appropriately, internal links act as a strong pillar to optimize destination pages for the exact keywords along with strategically distributing the link equity in an effective manner that can target your major landing pages.

There are various recommendations to improve the internal links of your website. For enterprise websites, it is tough to monitor each and every linking opportunity that can be pretty fruitful in the future.

Screaming Frog is a reliable tool that contains a ‘search’ feature to find internal linking opportunities like a piece of cake.

Here Are The Final Thoughts

SEO is all about improving the user experience of a website. If your visitors are loving you, search engines are more likely to favor you in terms of high ranking. You need to be scalable, efficient and productive at the end of the day. If you will see some improvements in the output by following the above-listed tips, you are very near to the sea-shore. Hello David,

I like your post. I had my eyes on keyword density. I have heard a number of times that keyword density is no longer a factor, but I am not sure how true this is. One thing I am sure of is that Bing pretty much still considers keyword density, and the engine prefers exact matching keywords.

However, I agree with you, there is no profit in forcing words into sentences if they do not fit. Even if you were to rank for those keywords, the fact that people are finding your pages hard to read will mean they will bounce back. Google considers the bounce rate and if it is too high, your page will be dropped.

I think you have to have a healthy keyword density, but the key is to always make sure the post sounds natural. If you can’t make it natural, then don’t force it.

    Regards.

    Hey there Philip and David,

Indeed this is a great post, especially for the blogging industry. One thing that most of the people don’t realize is that SEO is an evolving industry. What worked 1-2 years ago, mostly doesn’t work these days, spam tools like GSA and many others.

Yo mentioned also an important factor these days into Google. Internal linking, which many website don’t take into consideration, but they are totally wrong.

Just look over the top website like huff post, techcrunch or even ShoutMeLoud, you’ll see that for every post they have around 5-10 internal links. That helps for posts to flow the juice over on website.

    Indeed, a great post.

    Cheers,

    Melos

  11. Keyword is very obsolete nowadays I agree with you. Content to your blog should come really natural because people are not stupid that you just forced to put in those keywords in there and it just makes your content lose credibility to readers. I think besides creating unique and rich content, content makers should also think about virality; what’s trending and what terms are in. The more catchy title you have, the more people would likely click it.

Great read! I am wondering what tips you have for anyone within the health coaching niche? Aside from having a thorough “about page” and author bio on all posts. What do you recommend to improve SEO?
